Through years of research, black jack strategies have really developed and many strategy charts now exist that depend on the variation that you play. Some common variations include strategy charts for single decks and multiple decks. After understanding these charts, it will be much easier for you to put the strategies to use.

The Different Strategies

1. The hit and stand strategy involves taking the dealer's face-up card into consideration when making decisions instead of only seeing yours. 3. With the splitting strategy, your chances of winning may be higher, but it would be recommended not to split 5s and 10s and to always split 8s and Aces. To get more money, this would be the easiest method to learn.
4. The surrendering and insurance strategies should only be used by blackjack professionals. The rules for these strategies state that hands that equal 2 to 8 or 12 to 16 should hit, if the face-up card of the dealer is at least 7. It also states that hands that total 17 to 20 should stand.
